I found this article today on Mom Stuff Facebook page and I have to admit, I was shocked. Really only 45 days and so much to do?

Only 46 Days Until Christmas!

By Tired Mom Tésa

I know it seems early to be in the holiday spirit, but with two preschoolers whose birthday’s sandwich Christmas, the holidays are on their minds a lot this time of year. We had a few big, wet flurries the other day and it was all I could do not to sing, “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.” Kora & Logan immediately started asking, “How many days until my birthday?” and “How many days until Christmas?” So I got out the calendar and we started counting. http://networkedblogs.com/ahtqM

I do not like to start the Christmas season this early but with only 45 days left I am giving you some of our most popular links to help plan your gift giving. These links are for fun, creative and  inexpensive gifts.

Need a Gift Idea for Friends or Neighbors?

Monday, December 14th, 2009

We have been busy posting lots of gift ideas for you on the  mom-stuff site. If you need more ideas for friends or neighbor gifts we have them. My granddaughter decided she wanted to give gifts to all of her classmates. I took the Santa Kisses Poem (Christmas Friend Gifts #3) and the Christmas stocking pattern (Christmas Friends Gift #2)  from www.mom-stuff.com and helped her make gifts for her classmates.  It was so nice to have so many ideas compiled in one place. I would like to thank all of the moms who made this great request. We hope you will enjoy these and please keep telling us what you want to see on our site. Also if you have an idea to share email it to us. We love to hear from you. contact@mom-stuff.com

Here is a list of the gift ideas and links for friend and neighbor gifts. We hope you will enjoy these.

Twelve Days of Christmas

Twelve Days of Christmas by Amber at www.mom-stuff.com

Last year I decided I wanted to bring some joy to a family’s life that I knew was struggling due to the troubled economy.  Everybody needs a little bit of cheer all the time but especially at Christmas.  I focused on family time to bring some joy to this family each evening. This is my version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

My version of the 12 days of Christmas is very different than the original version.  I took a variety of poems and printed them out on Christmas stationary.  To use my format buy stationary with printing across the tip as in a header. I then bought or made an item that goes along with each poem I have listed. The items I included at the bottom of each poem.  I put each item into a Christmas sack with the tag tied with curly ribbon.  Each day I would deliver the poem and the item to my family’s house.  My hope was to create a family bonding time for each of the 12 days before Christmas and add some Christmas JOY. I hope you will enjoy this and have a Merry Christmas. (more…)
